Track History and Fun Facts: Grand opening August, 15, 1946, Harrington Raceway's 60th year of harness racing action finished on October 26th. The lightning-quick half-mile oval was reconstructed prior to the 2003 spring meet by trackmasters Dan and Greg Coon. The renovations have resulted in wider turns, and a safer, faster racetrack. Harrington sports a grandstand with a capacity of 3,200 and its clubhouse can seat 400 visitors.
