WOODBINE

Woodbine Racetrack is located in Toronto, Ontario and is a unique track because it is the only one in North America that can run both thoroughbred and standardbred races on the same day. The new Woodbine Race Course was opened in 1956 and has made improvements over the past two decades that included adding two race courses.

Woodbine has a main polytrack course that is one mile that includes two chutes, one for 2 furlongs and one for 7 furlongs. The course also has a turf course for 1 1/8 mile races and 1 1/2 mile races. The standardbred track is separate from the main and turf courses and allows for ten starters.

Racing Schedule – Woodbine is one of the few tracks in the country that runs races all year long.
