General Use & Video Overview:

BetAmerica gives customers the choice of using Windows Media or Flash video to view the races. We do this to give customers the greatest flexibility so they can choose the format and speed that works best for their computer.

Flash Video:

When the "Flash video" button is highlighted underneath the video screen, you are using Flash Video to view the races (you can toggle between flash and windows media simply by clicking on one button or the other). You'll have the choice to select your track, video window size (small and medium buttons are found underneath the video screen – the full screen option can be found in the bottom right hand corner of the video window when you mouse over the video screen), and video speed.

Unlike Windows Media, which automatically determines your connection speed and streams the video accordingly, with Flash you have the option of choosing your video speed from the drop down on the far right underneath the video window. Choose the video speed that provides you the clearest, least choppy picture (you can test your video speed by going to the following link: http://www.streaming.robertscomnet.com/buffering.php

Windows Media Video:

When the "WMP" button is highlighted underneath the video screen, you are using Windows Media Video to view the races (you can toggle between flash and windows media simply by clicking on one button or the other).

Windows Media gives you the option of choosing your track, and the video window size (the buttons below the video window give you the choice of small or medium sized windows – to view full screen, please double click on the video image after you have loaded a race).

If you have any additional questions regarding our video, please do not hesitate to contact customer service and they will happily walk you through the video options.
